Costs
The tuition for the 2010-2011 academic year is $9,400.00 per semester,* which includes program, room and board, and days of reflection.
The program is housed in the newly rehabbed residence building at 5401 S. Cornell Avenue. This building was the former Aragon hotel and has now been restored to its classic original architecture with updated modern amenities.
Participants in our program will enjoy newly renovated large private rooms. Each room is fully furnished and has a private bath and a walk-in closet, individually controlled air-conditioning and heat. There is a phone in each room, as well as a common phone available in the common room or lounge.
The lounge, located on the same residential floor, is equipped with a television, VCR, DVD and CD/Cassette player, as well as a spacious adjoining kitchen.
Sabbatical participants generally take all of their meals in the CTU cafeteria on the first floor of 5401 S. Cornell. Bed linens and towels are supplied by the Hesburgh Center. There is also a laundry room available to the participants at no additional cost.
Please note the following items are not included in the costs: parking, books, growth counseling, spiritual direction, massage/exercise and personal expenses.
Indoor on-site 24-hour parking is available at $300 for four months.
Prepaid phone cards are available for purchase in the area and are usually less than the Chicago-land telephone fees.
